India Tour Of Australia 2024-25: BGT 2025

On the recent tour of India to Australia, 2024-25, Australia rightfully picked up the Border Gavaskar Trophy, having beaten India in a closely contested series. The last match was held at the Sydney Cricket Ground, and it was obvious from the match that Australia had to dominate because of injuries to India’s bowling unit and the absence of Jasprit Bumrah. Australia crushed India 3-1.
The series was keenly played by Travis Head with the bat and Pat Cummins for Australia in the fast bowling department, who not only took plenty of wickets but also gave vital runs. The Indian batters, on the other hand, could not find their consistency in the first innings of this series. While Yashasvi Jaiswal was one of the good batsmen for India, there was no stability against a vicious and aggressive bowl attack from Australia.

The future of India–Australia cricket rivalry involves the consideration of the current form, historical performances, team dynamics, and strength of each side. India’s growing strength in T20 and ODI cricket matches because of new-generation players such as Subhman Gill, Prithvi Shaw, and Shreyas Iyer is stretching India’s chances in future matches.
But one thing is certain both nations continue to rule world cricket in the future. Strengths at home and a changing pool of talent sets India apart from Australia, which is deep in experience and fast-bowling resources. The battle between these cricketing beasts will be intense, with both teams set to keep testing each other for supremacy throughout. Just sit tight for the interactive contests with some heart-stopping finishes and a bunch of spectacular moments in their future encounters.
