Kolkata Knight Riders put up a decent score of 179/6 after batting first, with Ajinkya Rahane (48) and Andre Russell (38) putting in good displays of batting. For CSK, Noor Ahmad (4/31) starred with the ball. CSK started poorly, losing 5 wickets in the powerplay, however, Dewald Brevis (52 off 25) and Shivam Dube (45 off 40) were able to provide stability. MS Dhoni was instrumental in the end, providing the calm head to see CSK through a tight contest. Noor Ahmad was awarded Player of the Match for his pivotal spell, which helped CSK clinch another victory in IPL 2025.
