Batting first, SRH managed to put up a total of 143/8, with Heinrich Klaasen leading the way with a knock of 71 runs off 44 balls. MI’s Trent Boult took home Player of the Match for his performance of 4/26, leading MI’s bowling attack. MI chased the score down in only 15.4 overs. MI’s batting was led by Rohit Sharma, who scored 70 runs off 46 balls, while Suryakumar Yadav finished the innings not out on 40 runs off 19 balls. MI got off to a flyer with the ball too, through Boult and Deepak Chahar (2/12), which resulted in SRH struggling early, at 35/5. As good as Klaasen was, SRH couldn’t compile a competitive total.
