Sai Sudharsan top scored for GT with 82 runs, while a hefty finish from Rashid Khan and Rahul Tewatia helped GT amass a target of 217 for RR to chase. A strong fightback led by Shimron Hetmyer, who scored a fifty, was not enough to chase down the mammoth target as RR were bowled out for 159. Prasidh Krishna took 3/24 and Rashid Khan took 2/37 for GT. GT are now four wins on the trot and well and truly in contention for the playoffs.
