1. Chris Gayle (30 Balls) RCB vs Pune Warriors:

Chris Gayle smashed his way into the record books during an unforgettable 31st IPL match in 2013. Playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore against Pune Warriors at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, he scored a century in just 66 balls,  the fastest century in IPL history. It was pure fireworks as he blasted 13 fours and an incredible 17 sixes. Gayle went on to achieve the greatest individual score in IPL history, staying not out at 175 runs.

2. Vaibhav Suryavanshi (35 Balls) RR vs GT: 

Vaibhav Suryavanshi has created IPL history. At just 14 years of age, he became the youngest player to score a century in the tournament. Playing for the Rajasthan Royals against the Gujarat Titans, the teenage sensation smashed an unbeaten 101 runs off just 38 balls. He took a breathtaking knock, filled with 7 boundaries and 11 towering sixes, finishing his century with a strike rate of 265.78. He made his mark by scoring the second-fastest century ever by any player in the Under-18 category. 

3. Yusuf Pathan (37 Balls) RR vs MI: 

Yusuf Pathan’s blazing 37-ball century against Mumbai Indians is still remembered as one of the fastest and most explosive innings in the tournament’s history. It was the 2nd match of the IPL held in 2010. Batting for the Rajasthan Royals, he came in when the team was in trouble and completely changed the game with his fearless hitting shots. Smashing 8 towering sixes and 9 powerful fours, he had the Brabourne crowd stunned and hopeful. It felt like he could win the match on his own.

4. Heinrich Klaasen (37 Balls) SRH vs KKR: 

The recent IPL match 2025 against the Kolkata Knight Riders featured a remarkable performance by Heinrich Klaasen. He scored an unbeaten 105 runs from only 39 balls, making it the fastest century for this season and the fourth fastest century in the competition’s rich history. His explosive innings allowed Sunrisers Hyderabad to reach an incredible 278/3, the third-highest total in IPL history. It was a thrilling innings and one that had fans and cricket fans very entertained. 

5. David Miller (38 Balls) PBKS vs RCB: 

David Miller’s explosive century against Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2013 remains one of the special memories of the IPL. While playing for the Kings XI Punjab lot, Miller walked to the crease when the team needed rescuing in a nervy situation. He was calm and confident as he let rip for his hundred and smashed 101 off just 38 balls. In this innings, he hit seven huge sixes and eight fours.

6. Travis Head (39 Balls) SRH Vs RCB:

Travis Head kicked off the 2024 IPL season with a match-winning innings for Sunrisers Hyderabad against Royal Challengers Bangalore. Head proved his origins with explosive stroke-play; a truly remarkable century, with 102 from 41 balls. With every stroke he played, his confidence and power escalated, proving exactly why he is a destructive batsman in all formats. Once Hyderabad extracted so much in such a short period, they posted a mammoth 287/3 – and everything else was downhill from there to a memorable victory.

7. Priyansh Arya: 39 Balls PBKS vs CSK: 

Priyansh Arya, a 19-year-old boy, hit a 42-ball century for the Punjab Kings against CSK. The famous match was played in Mullanpur on 8th April, 2025 when he scored 103 runs off 42 balls bravely against the Chennai Super Kings, a team with 5 IPLs as champions. His remarkable century now ranks fourth in the fastest centuries in IPL of all times.

8. Abhishek Sharma (40 Balls) SRH vs PBKS:

Abhishek Sharma fullfiled the stadium audience when he shot the fastest century in just 55 balls against PBKS. He shot 14 boundaries and a huge 10 sixes. Abhishek scored a total of 141 runs in only 55 balls and the century made unforgettable memories in the hearts of the fans forever.

9. William Jacks (41 Balls) RCB vs GT:

Will Jack, better known as William Jack, comes in at No. 9 for the fastest century in IPL history. He is undoubtedly the best batsman from RCB. Will Jack produced a century off just 41 balls in the 45th IPL match of the 2024 tournament. His incredible 10 sixes stunned the Gujarat Titans bowling attack.
